One aspect of language learning that has always fascinated me was the ability to learn language faster, though very simple techniques.  The basic techniques of accelerated language learning are 1) Learn vocabulary over grammar. 2) Read a text, translate it, create flashcards with the words you do not know and read it again. 3) Make link-words, learning though association helps 4) Use your imagination to learn grammar and vocabulary, like the roman room technique and mind mapping 5) After you study, try to relax for about 15 minutes ,doing nothing to let it sink in. 6) Learn pop songs or song you like for vocabulary, and listen to it over and over 7) Listen to the radio and try to understand what they are saying.
