Hat trick two- how to learn a language with a partner

Learn a trick or how to learn a language with a partner

One extension of the idea described as the “hat trick” is placing a hat or basket near the entrance of a particular room of your house. Every time you walk past this basket you have to pull out a word and test yourself. If you did this, you would be learning your target language faster. You could apply this language learning technique to any daily habit as long as you would enjoy doing it. That is, test yourself everytime you log on to your e-mail or check your cell phone. Try not just words but also phrases or sentences. If you walk into, then out of your kitchen eight times a day, then this is much better than sitting down and looking at a list of words on a piece of paper trying to memorizes it. Your language learning will become active, and this testing and retesting is what your brain needs to beable to retrieve words and phrases in your target language naturally.
