Who are better in languages men or women? In my experience women, perhaps because they have more connections in their verbal centers usually pick up a language easier. However I when I meet a man that speaks a language well they speak it really well like a native. Further when I meet guys who actually sit and study, then they also speak it very well. However most people who I know who say they want to learn a language do not study hard, usually because of time constraints.

Interesting, I think women are better with languages. Most language teachers I know are women and as are most polygots but I am not 100% on this, I am very open to hre why you think so. This is interesting for me.

In Polish (I’ve no time), so : I’m sorry or it’s better for your practice.
To jedynie moje osobiste zdanie i doświadczenie.

Good reply: Basically if motivation is equal men make greater progress in language than women, and will use language as a tool or instrument, whilst women use enjoy language for language but will only use it if they are in a concrete situation.
I still think as a whole women are better, I think you speak much better English than I speak Polish. But you right about men see language as a means than an end. I know alot of computer geeks that can get by in English very well becasue of techy things they have to read and the internet is mostly in English.
I know black t-shirt, skinny pimply faced computer geeks who sell illegal movies at the giałda (market) on Saturday and Sunday morning who speak and understand English better than some people who study the language mostly because they translated many of the subtitles or did the lecture themselves for the movies they sell. Or had play computer games in English as well as crack software with English language hacker manuals. Men are more about tools women are more about lifestyle when it comes to learning language.
