Relative finger length indicates language ability
I do not believe this fully, as everyone has a gift for learning languages. I have taught 1000s of students over the years from all ages and everyone can learn a language. However, this study looks at finger relative finger length as one indication of language ability. ” Recent research suggests finger length is an index of early prenatal exposure to testosterone and may be one of the reasons why some children are better in math and others in language…” This study focuses on hormones and the influence on brain development with respect to langugae learning and math. It is fun to look at these studies, but should be take as something for fun rather than as a sign for predermination from above.
