Meditation and memory  This details a landmark study that shows favorable impact of meditation on memory and brain impariment. Even just eight minutes a day showed an improvement. This is almost common sense, that meditation or a form a deep relaxation will help memory. It will also help language learning. The paradox is that the people who need time to relax the most will be the ones who claim they have no time, not even eight minutes a day to meditate.
