Heschl’s gyrus
Many areas of the brain are connected with languages, and depending on the language you speak you will use different parts of the brain. However, the area which is perhaps most connected to language learning is Heschl’s gyrus. In fact the tiny left region of Heschl’s gyrus has been studied for the ability to discern pitch, a basic part of tonal languages. Other functions like comprehension or vocabulary are most likey not found in this area.
