Russian speaker knows Polish language the best

Who knows Polish the best

The Polish language is so hard that each year Poland holds a contest who is the best native and foreign speaker.  This year a Russian won the foriegn speaker category.

It is very rare that a foreigner can speak Polish so well.  There are so many exceptions to this language that most Polish people do not speak it correct.

Dictation was the tie breaker for the Polish contest

“This year 200 students from 34 countries and 5 continents decided to write the Polish dictation which is the culminating point of the event. The rules were very simple the competitors only had to write down a text red by a lector. But how to write down sentence like this: “Jak życzenie Å›ciÄ…gajÄ…ce opiekÄ™ siÅ‚ nadprzyrodzonych, ale także niechybnie odżegnujÄ…ce moce nieprzychylne” ? Dr Aldona Skudrzyk from the Silesian University told me that no one has written the text without any mistake in 10 years history of the event. “Very difficult”"

Here is an article that tells more about a Russian who learned Polish.
