How to learn a foreign language-first understand
If you want to learn a foreign language I think you need to concentrate on learning words. This is how you learn a language. If you learn words then you can understand what other people say on the radio, TV and in conversation. If you listen to others and do not understand the words then you will get bored very quick or at least frustrated. But if you can understand basically what they are saying you will listen more. When you listen you will be able to repeat. This is what babies do to learn a language and this is what I recommend you do if you want to learn a foreign language. Learn words and try to understand - to learn a foreign language.
