How to learn a language in 10 days

The hardest part of learning a language is starting. The second hardest part of learning a language is staying with your learning process or system. Most people start off too strong, with unrealistic expectations. Here is a way to learn a good part of a language in 10 days.

How to learn a language fast

Have 3″ by 5″ note cards by your computer, or around your favorite place in the house. I keep it by my computer where I work and relax for many hours, and for me this is great, because if I want to learn a language, I do not have to rearrange my life to set time aside to learn a language, as I can learn foreign language words periodically through out the day. Day by day transform these note cards into flash cards. On your first day learn one new word in your target foreign language, that is which you make with the note card. The next day, day two learn 2 new foreign language words and review your first word. Your third day learn 4 new words, your 4th day learn 8 new words, etc. Use this simple mathematical progression to learn 1023 words in 10 days. That is with your flash cards, learn 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512. This equals 1023 new foreign language words. Ok maybe you will not make it to 10 days but if you even make it to day 7 that is a lot of words. Once you break the chain start from 1 again. So if you only make it to day 6 or 32 words, but not day 7 of learning new words, the next day start back with 1 to punish yourself. If you can really make it to the 10th day. You would have the basic vocabulary of a language. You of course need to review each of the words learned from the last day.

Challenge yourself to learn new words in a foreign language

There is something about a progessive system that makes learning foreign words fun. You are not just learning a language, but rather its almost a game to learn new words if it is done progressively in such a radical way. See how high you can go. Wow, imagine if you could make to day 12. If you did, in 12 days you would really learn a language. But start with baby steps, then normal steps, run, then fly. This is a no gimmick way to learn a language fast.

I used this method this method to learn new Polish words this week and made it to day 5. But its not bad, I learned 31 words this week. I did not make it to the next level of 32 new words on day 6 because I got busy. I will start with day 1 of the method on how to learn a language in 10 days because I did not make it to day 6. I like this method because it is more like a game or a challenge and is better than in my opinion than learning 5 words a day everyday without end. It gives your language learning a jump start. - How to learn a language in 10 days.
