Ability to learn a second language
Language learning is not genetically determined. You do not need to be a super star to speak a language. Everyone speaks a language and the skills and ability to speak a new language are more general than specific as we can use various parts of the brain.

Look at Tyrone ‘Muggsy’ Bogues, I went to school with him at Wake Forest University. He is 5’ 3” tall and became a professional basketball super star. However, to lean a language is nothing like being a sports star. Why? Because to be a sports star you need to be in the top 1% of 1% of your field and even than maybe use drugs to get there. To speak a language you do not need to be perfect, you just have to use it. Arnold Schwarzenegger weakest genetic point in his body was his arms, and he said this is what he focused on and you turned his weakness into his greatest point, in fact when we was a body builder this is what he was know for. So in life if you feel you have a weak point with languages, make it your glory.

In fact when we conducted the 9th symphony for the first time, they had to turn him around at the end of his performance because he did not know the crowd was going wild.
The world is full of ‘geniuses’ who do nothing, and when people like Ronald Regan, JFK achieve greatness with an average IQs and Andy Warol an IQ of 86, why do people get fixated on biology being destiny or ‘having a gift to learn languages’. In my experience the only people who learn languages are people who work. Maybe, some people have to study, 3 hours a day and others 2.5 hours a day, but so what. Language is skill that the brain picks up very different than other skills as it’s built to learn languages. The real challenge is to find your specific strategy to learn a language that is good for your brain, based on your brain’s abilites and interests. You need to find your winning formula.
