The bottom line is a language is connected to the way you think.  You actaully think and see the world different when you learn a new language. Not just for practical languages like you can experience another culture, but it physically changes your brain and you see the world in another way.  I think it also makes you more intelligent.  …”learning a second language have been proven to develop distinctive and improved perceptual strategies and more advanced processing in certain verbal tasks and abstract thinking.”
