Deep brain electrical stimulation has awoken a man that spent many years in a near-vegetative state for six years. The 38 year old had suffered brain injury and left for dead. Now with deep brain eletical stimulation his brain is starting to function again, he can eat, drink watch movies start to commnicate. Who knows what the future hold. My point never give up hope for anything.
