Using computer games to establish a baseline cognitive function
Using computer games to establish a baseline cognitive function
I can tell basically how I am functioning cognitively based on scores on computer games I play. From this baseline I can determine what affects my brain function. For example, sleep, time of day, diet, etc. I think every brain functions differently. I have found the things that keep my thoughts the clearest and what does not. For example, many people think or even do perform better with caffeine, my brain performs worse as I think it has too quick of a half life in my body. On the other hand, I can learn and react much better in the early morning than any other time of day. If I have a lot of DHA my recall is significantly better. If you know when and what affects your cognitive function I think then you can plan your day so your studying a foreign language is more optimal. For me, in the afternoon I might as well not even pick up a book, unless of I trying to test hypnopaedia of course.
