Computer language learning is the new immersion
Laptops expected to transform learning By Jennifer Feinberg- Portable laptop computers are more than just convenient high-tech toys. They’re a state-of-the-art learning tool to get students ready for the 21st century, says a Francophone School District official. About 1,200 brand-new $1,000 laptops are being set up in 38 French schools across B.C. as one aspect of a strategic plan called Pedagogie 2010. The aim is to transform learning through the integration of technology into school culture and curriculum.
A multi media approach is a very effective and method of language learning. You can learn in your home and repeat the sounds while looking at images. This is less intimidating for many than traditional classes.
