What if the whole world spoke the Polish language?

Can you image if the how world spoke Polish, almost like much of the world speaks English. But image if the whole world spoke Polish.  What would become of the Polish language and universal words? Regarding Polish, I am sure there would be thousands of dialects and regional variation, now there really are not any in Polish. Polish poets and writers like Adam Mickiewicz or Henryk Sienkiewicz would be debated and know around the world like Shakespeare is today. Regarding universal words, Polish speakers would apply cases and genders to ever word you know.  So instead of saying ‘I want a ‘sprite’ to drink’ it would be I want a ‘Sprite-a’ to drink. Names would take on new spellings and pronunciations. Even Philadelphia would now become Filadelfia if the whole world spoke Polish.

hey buddy, I was browsing the web looking for foreign languages learning tips and methods and I stumbled upon your blog. I am not sure if you keep up updating your blog since most of the articles I saw are from 2007, anyway I’m impressed by the way you write about polish. polish is my native language and I have never seen anyone so passionate about it. I wonder what is your motivation, polish isn’t the most useful language in the world, huh? maybe it’s about polish girls? :)

long story short, I’m happy I discovered your website today. I speak english, french, italian, german and recently started learning russian so I found here lots of interesting posts and articles.

keep up the good work and feel free to contact me!
